It was a cute little place. We just stopped for coffee and dessert. You have to try their deep fried pretzel with a cream cheese filling 🙂 The server was very friendly and nice.
Food was delicious rib, steak. Salmon
We planned on trying all the restaurants on our visit to Garden City, but after we came here for breakfast we were hooked, and ended up coming often. Great food, great selection, cozy atmosphere, and all the staff was SO friendly! ❤️
Environment was fun and rustic. Server was great. Food was delicious. It came hot and timely. They even gave us raspberry sorbet after some rolls. Both using raspberries from the Bear Lake area. Great experience.
Not the small town restaurant experience we expected. I would guess that the head chef was not in. We will have to come back during the busy season and try it again.
Ew. We had several orders with all different food and we all were disgusted. In our taco salad and Shepard’s pie, the meat was literally a torn up burger. Food was not cooked good and tasted terrible. We all don’t feel good after eating a few bites of our meal. Overall a waste of money. Don’t come here!!
Food was so so. No one was cleaning or sanitizing the tables. We had to clean our own table. In the age of Covid, really?
Delicious and great place! Price is right, between $7 to $10.
Great friendly people and service! Food was tasty and perfectly priced we will be dining here every time we go to Bearlake!!!
The waitress was sweet but the food tasted like something that I would make at home. The steak was not seasoned at all rhe crab tasted like imitation crab the broccoli smelled horrible i didn't even eat it. The only good thing about our meal was the bread
People were great but the food that I ordered (prime rib steak) was probably the worst I’ve had.
Cute little family owned restaurant. Owner and staff were very friendly and food was pretty good. I would recommend a stop in on your journey there. Great location, decently priced, has fun historical articles hanging and includes a gift shop.
Really dissapointed this place came recommended. Wild rice was not cooked, Broccoli was several days old, starter salad never arrived. Food quality was C- at best for the price.
Really enjoyed the food out here, truly an amazing experience. The hospitality this place brings is a lot better than some of my own local restaurants. It was a real treat coming out here with the small amount of time I had.
Nice place for the money. The food is good, nothing great, but for how cheap it is it’s hard to complain. Staff was very friendly and on top of things.
Delicious food, very unique fries, like curly but way thicker, and great customer service.😄👍
PROS: The price was great and most of my party enjoyed their food. The service was great as well. CONS: The pastrami on my pastrami burger looked like and tasted like spam. The whole restaurant had a mildew smell and the bathroom had a large yellow puddle in the middle of the floor.
Raspberry shake and the raspberry popsicles area AMAZING!! Best around.
Awesome! I got the prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. And our waitress Zoe was super sweet and very happy and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed!
Never thought the appetizers would be better than the actual entree. The restaurant gives off an old town dinner feel but is quite charming. The pasta was a bit cold, but they gave us a discount on our behalf. But oh my GOSH was the Family platter and the desserts good! Especially the fries!!! It's a beautiful cross of a potato wedge and a curly fry!!! Truly on of man's best creations! The dessert down below is the Cream cheese stuffed pretzel with vanilla ice cream and a delicious raspberry topping. Highly recommend!
Decided on this place bcuz they were doing dine in & most the other places were not, me and the fam ended up really liking it, ate here twice & the people were nice.
We loved this place. Definitely a highlight to our little trip. Amazing service and the coolest little knick knack shop.
Their chicken fried steak was one of the best ones I've ever tried. They were open off season and the service was very fast.
Service was subpar. The food was subpar. Should have known it wouldn’t be great as it was dead while all the other places to eat were packed. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Great place to go grab a bite. Excellent service and reasonable prices considering its a touristy place thought would be more expense but it was good. Meals were also good, waitress was very nice, overall great service. Also have good food variety so you’ll most likely find something you like. We go about once a year so will definitely stop by whenever in town again.
Staff was very friendly, they were trying very hard to maintain covid precautions, and the food was delicious!
Great Souvenirs! The staff was really helpful
(Menu is hard to see online, so here it is.) Great restaurant. Very simple and cozy, but WOW! I was very very surprised by the food here. We went as a party of 24 and not one of us were disappointed by the food. Thanks Bear Trapper!!!
Average food, marginal service, expensive! There were only 2 active tables including us and it took 2 hours to get done. Don't waste your time money.
I loved this restaurant. These people who work here are honestly the best. I've never had this great of service before. The food was great and I truly would recommend coming here. They started us with free sorbet to try and brought our food super quick!
Great place and excellent service! Food what good! Only reason for a 4 star is my chicken bacon ranch sandwich was good but could have been better. Overall good place to bring your family!
Great pasta dinner. Raspberry lemonade made with real raspberry's was a nice surprise. Petite meal option was nice to leave room for dessert.
The restaurant is very nice. We were seated immediately upon entering the building and brought complimentary rolls with butter and raspberry jam as well as water. The waitress was very kind and helpful as well as prompt even though you could tell she was stressed from the sudden influx of people. The food is pretty good but slightly overpriced for the amount and quality. Not that the meal is super small, but a medium sized chicken breast with rice and broccoli isn't exactly my idea of a $10 meal. The restrooms are well kept as well. That's always impressive.
Good place that was fun and friendly. Mandarin Chicken Salad was super good “loved the little crunchy noodles”. The Pasta Primavera was great with the chicken, bacon, broccoli and red peppers. Good portion sizes! Alfredo sauce was ok.
Great breakfast omelet, fair prices and peaceful atmosphere.
